Parties, Walk to and Follow
This page is about playing with other people.
Travel with friends while staying part of the shared world.
Playing together
A party holds up to fifteen travellers. Invite someone through their menu, or accept an invitation. The party display helps you watch the group’s Peace.
Capernaum, the cave and the High Place use shared public encounters. Players outside your party can still see the fight and contribute damage.
Who is here
The People tab lists every traveller in your Capernaum by gamer name, with their total level and Knowledge level on one line under it, such as “Total level 34 · Knowledge 5”. The total level is the number the hiscores use: every skill’s level added together. The members of your party who are here show the same line. Nothing else about anyone is shown.
Open a traveller’s menu in the world and every choice names them with their total level after the name, such as “Follow Silas (total level 34)” or “Invite to party Silas (total level 34)”. Examine says both levels: “Silas is a traveller at total level 34, Knowledge level 5.” A traveller’s total level is brought up to date shortly after they gain a level.
Finding a friend
Open People, select the traveller and press Walk to or Follow. Walk to goes towards their current position; Follow keeps trying to stay with them as they move.
Chat names offer the same Walk to and Follow actions. Both work throughout Capernaum, the cave and the High Place, even when the other traveller is too far away to be drawn. Travel between these areas uses their entrances and quest requirements. If the traveller disconnects or is in a different world instance, join the same world before trying again.
This guide describes game mechanics. Skill names and levels describe a character’s progress, not a person’s spiritual standing.
