AFK prayer

This page is about playing with other people.

Let other travellers know you have stepped away with a kneeling prayer pose.

Starting and ending

Move away from danger and finish any current action.
Type AFK as your complete chat message and press Enter. Capitalisation does not matter.
After the message is accepted, your traveller kneels in prayer and displays an AFK marker.
Move, jump, eat or begin an action to return.

What other players see

The pose stays in place while you are AFK, including for players who arrive afterwards. It is a social status, not a combat ability. It awards no XP, extra healing or protection.

If you disconnect or your device puts the game to sleep, other players may no longer see you. A browser game cannot keep your device connected while it is switched off.

This guide describes game mechanics. Skill names and levels describe a character’s progress, not a person’s spiritual standing.

October Support

This October goal is what pays me to do the work. The hours of research behind every article, going and getting the documents, reading them properly, the filming and the streams, the study tools, The Way (our free Christian game) and the children's lessons.

All of it is free. There is no paywall and there are no sponsors telling me what I can say, which means the whole thing runs on the people who think it is worth running.

Support is voluntary and appreciated.
